These Terms and Conditions outline the responsibilities and expectations for families participating in programs offered by Snowy Sprouts Nature School.
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Enrolments are confirmed once payment is received through our booking system.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Families are required to complete a consent and medical form prior to attendance.
It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date, including emergency contacts and medical details.

Please arrive and collect your child on time to help maintain the group rhythm and respect session timings.
If your child is unwell or unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible
Refunds or make-up sessions are not available for missed sessions unless otherwise stated in special circumstances.

Snowy Sprouts sessions are held outdoors in all safe weather conditions, embracing the natural elements as part of our learning.
Sessions may be modified, relocated, or cancelled in the event of extreme weather (such as high winds, lightning, fire risk, or flooding).
Families will be notified by text or email as early as possible if a session is cancelled
If a session must be cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, a credit or alternative date will be offered.

Children remain under the supervision of Snowy Sprouts staff during program hours only.
All staff hold a Working With Children Check and appropriate training in first aid, risk assessment, and child safety.
We maintain small group sizes to ensure quality supervision and support.
Families are expected to follow staff guidance on safety, appropriate clothing, and participation requirements.
In the Seedlings Playgroup, a parent or guardian must remain on-site and is responsible for their child’s direct supervision.

5. Activities, Risk & Liability
Activities at Snowy Sprouts may include water play, tree climbing, tool use, and nature exploration.
All activities are risk-assessed and conducted with appropriate safety measures and supervision.
By enrolling, parents acknowledge that participation involves some level of inherent outdoor risk, and agree to release Snowy Sprouts Nature School and its staff from liability for ordinary risks associated with these activities.
Parents must inform staff of any medical, developmental, or behavioural needs that may affect their child’s participation.

Children must arrive dressed for the weather, with suitable clothing, footwear, hats, and waterproof layers.
A full change of clothes, water bottle, and healthy snack are recommended for each session.
We encourage clothing that allows freedom to explore and get messy!

7. Payment & Refunds
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your child’s place.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the session will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable, except in the case of illness or emergency (at the discretion of Snowy Sprouts).
If Snowy Sprouts cancels a session, families will be offered a credit, transfer, or refund.

8. Media Consent
Photos and videos may be taken during sessions to share learning experiences and promote Snowy Sprouts (e.g., social media, website, or newsletters).
Consent for media use is included in your enrolment form and may be changed at any time by written request.

Snowy Sprouts is a community built on kindness, respect, and care for people and nature.
Families and children are expected to treat staff, peers, and the environment with respect.
We reserve the right to withdraw participation for any behaviour that compromises safety or wellbeing.
